Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business
OPTEC Solutions designs, integrates, tests, and sustains manned and unmanned aircraft systems for the U.S. military, allied partner nations, and NASA.
Who we are
OPTEC Solutions is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business with a deep background in developing, testing, integrating, and maintaining manned and unmanned systems.
Our team has designed, integrated, and fielded complete systems across military and commercial UAS programs, including international work and Foreign Military Sales. We read a requirement the way the customer wrote it, and we deliver hardware that flies rather than a paper solution.
Whether you need support on a system already in the field or an emerging capability integrated and tailored to your requirements, we cover the full technical span.
What we offer
Six lines of work, from the first requirements meeting through sustainment of a fielded system.
Hardware and software brought together across airborne, ground control, communications, and sensor segments — including STANAG compliance and interoperability checks.
DoD Design of Experiments certified planning and execution for manned and unmanned aircraft. We make sure the system is ready before it reaches the range.
Instructor-led curriculum, on-site and in-field delivery, and complete operator and maintainer technical manuals for the system and its support equipment.
Selected program
For the USMC Tier II Concept Demonstrator we designed, built, integrated, and tested every major segment: five fully autonomous T-16 aircraft, a NATO STANAG compliant ground control station, a pneumatic launcher and transporter, and a net capture recovery system — each piece inside the Marine Corps two-person, 150-pound lift limit.
The system was then tested under simulated combat conditions at Naval Weapons Center China Lake.
Next step
Bring us a requirement, a schedule, or a system that is not behaving. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right team for it.
